Interesting large bore Irish single barrel percussion fowler by Kilpatrick of Dungannon - $350.00

Please click the image for a larger version
Interesting Irish single barrel percussion fowler. Signed on lock in script "Kilpatrick" and on top of barrel "DUNGANNON" with additional early gun registration number "AR7020" stamped on buttplate. 37" part octagon, part round barrel of about 10 gauge bore. Metal parts have a dark patina overall. Ramrod, ramrod pipes, and barrel key escutcheons are absent, hammer screw is an incorrect replacement, as is the barrel key. Stock has a varnished finish with expected handling marks, small chip and crack in front of lock, diagonal crack in left forearm edge, and a small crack opposite lock by trigger pin. Nipple is broken off. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
