"Zulu" style cartridge single barrel shotgun converted from French musket. Marked on top of barrel with unusual "MODOC" trademark, possibly referencing Indigenous people from the modern-day American northwest. Faint trace of maker mark on lock and ELG proof present on barrel. 32-3/4" barrel, 12 gauge. Metal parts have chocolate brown patina overall, having been cleaned lightly on the lock plate. Stock is good, showing average wear and use overall with replacement stock pin, has several light diagonal cracks in the forearm and crack to left of frame tang. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
