Remington Rolling Block 3-band rifle, transformed from Civil War musket. 39" round barrel of 58 caliber bore. Metal parts are an overall dark patina with overall light to medium pitting. Most of Remington 2-line patent marking on frame tang. Stock shows wear and use with some stable cracks at rear of frame tangs and at rear of forearm on underside. Wood has several deep marks in the left side of the butt and two in the forearm from where it got hit pretty hard. Cleaning rod is too short for the gun but displays well. Functions mechanically, but firing pin is no longer visible on inside of block due to rust. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
