Remington Beals 2nd model pocket revolver. Serial number 651. Believed to be less than 1000 made, per Flayderman 5E-002. Well-struck barrel marking "BEALS' PATENT 1856 & 57/MANUFACTURED BY REMINGTONS ILION N.Y." Metal parts are good overall, showing average wear and use overall with dark patina and minimal worn scattered pitting. Grips are very good, free of cracks and chips, showing average wear and use. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
