Large flintlock Mediterranean pistol. 11-1/2" barrel with flared muzzle, about 18" overall, about 0.56" bore. Metal parts are nicely embellished with fancy silver applied to barrel and other parts engraved. Nice, large lock for a pistol. Stock heavily embellished with geometric patterns using silver-headed nails, some of which are missing. Stock has a couple well-worn breaks that were repaired long ago with punch-decorated tin. Hammer clicks with functional sear, but does not have mainspring tension. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
