British flintlock boxlock pistol by Gatehouse, Portsmouth, as engraved on frame. 1-5/8" turn-off barrel still readily turns off, about .50 caliber bore, about 6-1/2" overall. Metal parts have a medium to dark gray patina overall with scattered light pitting present. Flat-sided grip is very good, shows evidence of having been lightly cleaned, showing some minor marks from handling, but free of cracks and chips. Does not have half cock. A couple screws are replaced. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
