Colt New Line 30 caliber revolver with etched barrel panel. Serial number 447. 2-1/2" round barrel marked on top in two lines "COLT'S PT.F.A.M'F'G Co/HARTFORD CT U.S.A" and in etched panel on left side of barrel "COLT NEW 30". Cylinder and barrel have much of their original blue finish, mixing with light patina. Frame has vibrant color casehardening, mixing with medium patina. Antique ivory grips are very fine with smooth wear and expected age cracks, having a couple "flea bites" on the edges, and a ding on the backstrap associated with a small chip in the right grip. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
