American Arms Co., Wheeler's Patent swiveling breech over-under derringer. Standard model with .22 barrel over .32 barrel. Serial number 3988. Evenly worn appearance with maker mark on top of one barrel and patent marking on top of other barrel. Metal parts overall have an attractive medium patina. Wood grips are good, showing moderate wear and use with few handling marks and one small corner nick on right side. Mechanically functional except does not hold at half cock. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
