early C1790-1810 flintlock militia musket with interesting New England style triggerguard "teats" and "KETLAND & Co" marked flint lock. 39-5/8" round barrel of .69 caliber bore. Metal parts have a medium to dark patina overall with minimal pitting in the flash hole area. Forearm sling swivel present, triggerguard swivel absent. Nicely formed plain maple stock shows attractive smooth patina from use, has some minor wood loss to forearm edges and expected handling marks.
