C1820-30 flintlock militia musket marked "ASHMORE/WARRANTED" on lock. 37" round barrel of about 0.71" bore. Metal parts have very attractive patina overall and smooth metal surfaces with minuscule scattered pitting. Stock is very good with an attractive appearance overall, may have been lightly cleaned, has some chipping/slivering to the ramrod channel, a minor sliver in the left side of the forearm edge, a tiny chip behind the barrel tang, and a long grain crack in the right side of the forearm. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
