Winchester M1890 .22 caliber slide action rifle. Early second model takedown with faded case colors on frame. Serial number 27139, made in 1894. 24" octagon barrel with standard front sight, rear sight blank, and Marble's tang peep sight. Barrel has original blue finish mixing with some light scattered rust and surfaces turning to a plumb patina. Frame is in a medium patina. Stock is good, free of cracks and chips, foregrip is very good with average wear, buttstock shows numerous dings on either side. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
