Scarce M1841 original percussion Hall rifle with "fishtail" operating lever. Clearly marked breech block with date of 1841. 33" round barrel. Metal parts have a brown patina overall. Stock has worn dings from handling, small crack in front of triggerguard, piece of wood replaced below left side of breech and piece of wood replaced at rear of breech. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
