Continental fullstock muzzleloading rifle with distinctive and unusual Dutch M1854 cavalry carbine style lock with ring spur hammer. 31-1/4" round barrel of about 0.55" rifled bore. Barrel breech and stock flat opposite lock are numbered 211 and 69, no other markings are apparent. Simple open sights on barrel. Metal parts have a medium to dark patina overall with a little minimal pitting in the bolster area. Stock may have been lightly cleaned to a smooth appearance, still showing some light handling marks and scratches. Equipped with an aged vintage rubber recoil butt pad. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
