Fancy flintlock Mediterranean pistol. 9-5/8" engraved barrel, about 15-1/2" overall, about .60 caliber bore. Stock is nicely wire inlaid, including a representation of the split-tipped Zulfiqar, sword of Ali, successor to Mohammad. Stock is intricately carved with floral patterns, Lock is engraved, sideplate and triggerguard have engraved silver embellishment, and buttcap may be of silver. Stock has some worn slivers to the edges of the forearm, being flattened and somewhat filled on the right side. An escutcheon is missing from the grip. Hammer has spring tension but does not cock. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
