M1836 US pistol by A. Waters, 1842. Interesting percussion conversion using drum and nipple method. Metal parts have an uneven brown patina overall with minimal scattered pitting. Stock is good with visible cartouches, small crack by rear lock bolt, and flake of wood missing from lock mortise above rear of lock, which has been gone for a long time, as evidenced by its wear. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
