M1836 US percussion conversion pistol. Maker markings on lock are obscured by dings. Metal parts have a light to medium mottled patina. Stock is good with nice cartouches, crack with small chip present in front lock mortise, and a pair of cracks by the rear lock screw. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
