M1836 US pistol by A. Waters, 1841. Percussion conversion using the Belgian method. Metal parts have a light to medium patina with some pitting on the barrel. Stock is very good with nice cartouches, small crack at rear of lock with associated small chip, and a hairline crack opposite the lock. Hammer has spring tension but does not cock due to broken sear spring, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
