Italian blackpowder replica of a Colt M1851 Navy revolver. Marked on top of barrel "NAVY ARMS CO RIDGEFIELD N.J. ITALY". Serial number 7459. 7-1/2" octagon barrel. Metal parts have fine finish with original blue on barrel and cylinder, color casehardening on lever and frame, and a medium patina on the brass parts. There is a little light rust present. Wood grips are good with some minor dings and scratches. Cocks and revolves if trigger is held forward, trigger does not have spring tension. Not warranted safe to shoot, buyer should consult a professionally trained gunsmith if considering shooting this rifle.
