Colt M1860 Army revolver. Mixed numbers gun with serial number 149140 on frame, 8788 on barrel, 193225 on triggerguard, 149140 on butt, 9140 on wedge. Number on cylinder is worn away. 8" barrel with maker marking on top partially worn away. Military model with frame cuts for shoulder stock. Metal parts are cleaned to a light gray with scattered dark spots from where rust was cleaned away and some scattered pitting. Wood grip is a nicely made replacement from quality walnut. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
