Tranter's patent cartridge pocket revolver. Maker marked on top of barrel "COGSWELL & HARRISON LONDON", patent marked on left side of frame and serial numbered 1321. 7-shot cylinder, bore measures about 0.23" or 6mm. Barrel has a mottled patina, cylinder has a dark patina and brass parts are a light to medium patina. Nicely engraved and elegantly crafted little gun. Wood grip panels have 100% checkering coverage, which are free of cracks and chips. Hammer cocks, but cylinder does not revolve. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
