Merwin Hulbert & Co. 38 double action pocket revolver. Flayderman 8A-087. Serial number 6971. 3-1/2" barrel. Similar unusual mechanism to open and load as the larger frame model. Metal parts have fine original nickel finish overall with blued triggerguard, has one small spot of pitting below the barrel rib on the right side and below the barrel on the left side. Hard rubber grips are fine with a minuscule chip and hairline on the butt of each panel. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
