Allen & Wheelock mid-production .22 caliber sidehammer revolver with roll-engraved cylinder. Serial number 322. 3" octagon barrel. Metal parts have a medium gray patina overall with some light granularness. Cylinder has vignette scenes of the Arms of Massachusetts, panoply of arms, mounted dragoon, ship at sea. Wood grip shows light wear and use primarily on the bottom grip edge. Cylinder pin head was chipped long ago. Hammer cocks and cylinder revolves, cylinder stop is weak and allows the cylinder to rotate backward when hammer is released. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
