Springfield M1795 Type III flintlock musket, dated 1813 on lock and buttplate. Portion of marking in front of cock is faint, has good barrel proofs and "US" marking on breech. 44-11/16" round barrel. Metal parts are cleaned to a light gray with a salt-and-pepper coloration overall. Stock is good, worn from use and may have been lightly cleaned, shows some minor nicks and handling marks. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
