Springfield M1795 Type III percussion conversion musket, dated 1810 on lock. Buttplate dated "181" with final digit obscured. Metal parts have a rich untouched dark patina overall with some pitting in the barrel breech area. Lower sling swivel and stud absent, ramrod is a different style replacement. Stock is evenly worn with a dark coloration, free of cracks, with scattered minor marks from handling. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
