Springfield M1795 Type II percussion conversion musket, dated 1807 on lock and buttplate. 44-5/8" barrel. Attractive chocolate patina to metal parts with some pitting in the drum area. Stock is good showing a long crack from front of triggerguard to lower barrel band, and some chipping around the barrel tang, otherwise shows average wear and use with minor chipping to ramrod channel. Upper sling swivel is absent. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
