Springfield M1795 Type III percussion conversion musket, dated 1809 on lock and buttplate. 44-3/4" barrel. Attractive chocolate patina to metal parts with some pitting in the drum area. Stock is good aside from a well-repaired wrist break, otherwise shows average wear and use with minor chipping to ramrod channel. Sling swivels are absent. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
