C1800-1820 flintlock fullstock longfowler with T. Ketland & Co marked lock, barrel proofed with Birmingham and ELG* proofs. 46-1/2" round barrel with octagon breech section, 0.59" bore. Lock and barrel reconverted to flintlock. Metal parts have a medium to dark patina overall except lock that was cleaned, has some pitting in the barrel breech section. Stock appears all original, but was made in two pieces with a splice in front of the ramrod ferule. Stock is good, showing average wear and use overall, has a crack by the rear lock screw, a crack and chip in the lock mortise, a chip in the forearm edge on right side near the muzzle, and expected handling marks overall. Hammer has spring tension but does not cock. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
