Percussion single barrel half stock fowler. 36" part octagon, part round barrel of about 20 gauge. No visible markings are noted. Metal parts have an untouched patina with light rust, and some scattered pitting. Interesting homemade barrel band and ramrod retaining loop on barrel. Stock is good with an old varnished finish, having a couple cracks near the forearm tip, a small piece missing from long ago behind the hammer, and a couple initials placed opposite the lock long ago. Ramrod absent. Mechanically good except trigger will release hammer from half cock, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
