Heavy percussion fowler. 44" barrel of 10 gauge bore, round with octagon breech section. Iron parts have a medium to dark patina with pitting in the breech, brass triggerguard was cleaned. The buttplate is absent and the butt wood is well worn from having been used for many years this way. A small patch or cap box was added to the right side of the butt, and any cover it may have had is absent. Stock is well-worn, with some worn slivers missing front the forearm edges, and it may have had a nosecap at one time. Hammer is absent, lock still functions when worked with a pliers. Nice handmade iron ramrod. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
