Iver Johnson single barrel shotgun with unusual triggerguard side-lever action. Serial number 30597. 32" barrel marked on top "IVER JOHNSON PAT'D". Barrel has plumb blue patina with scattered uncleaned rust specks. Frame has a speckled 70% original nickel finish. Pistol grip cap has Iver Johnson monogram and checkered hard rubber buttplate shows average wear and use, free of cracks and chips. Stocks are very good with some of the original finish, shows a couple tiny hairline cracks, but is solid overall and free of major damage. Side lever and barrel lockup show some looseness. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
