Hopkins & Allen "falling block" cartridge shotgun. 30" barrel marked on top "MADE BY THE HOPKINS & ALLEN MANFG CO.NORWICH,CONN.U.S.A". 12 gauge. Metal parts are worn with a smooth brown appearance overall. Stocks are fair, showing wear and numerous handling marks, small crack by forearm tip, small chip by frame on right side of forearm, and some worn nicking around the buttplate. Barrel is loose to frame on takedown feature, buttstock is loose to frame. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
