Germanic percussion jaeger rifle. Signed on lock in gold "GEORG MON" and on barrel "DOSER APAG" with additional gold wire inlay, some of which is missing. 33-1/4" octagon barrel. Right side of butt is refaced with a thin piece of wood, which is stained nicely to match. Wrist and forearm grip are fish scale carved. Triggerguard and buttplate are replacements. Left side of forearm has a sliver missing from the edge, and right side of the forearm has an edge crack, and there are some chips in the lock mortise. Ramrod is absent. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
