Ballard single shot lever-action drop-breech rifle. Serial number 14615. Caliber marked on top of barrel "38 LONG" (rimfire). 30" octagon barrel. Metal parts have patina surfaces overall with areas of cleaning, with breechblock and lever polished. A couple screws are replaced. Partial marking visible on left side of frame. Sights are absent from barrel. Forestock is good with numerous minor handling marks and a couple small chips. Buttstock has initials "WP" applied to left side of butt, long rearward crack left and right behind the frame. Right side of butt once had a little compartment cover installed, which is gone. Hammer and lever function, extractor is missing. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
