Smith & Wesson SECOND QUALITY first model, second issue 22 revolver

Rare Smith & Wesson first model, second issue "second quality" marked 22 caliber revovler. Flayderman 5G-009. Serial number 87093. Has usual barrel and cylinder markings, plus "2D QUALITY" clearly marked on either side of barrel in fine print. Metal has scattered minor dings, barrel and cylinder are clean, frame retains almost all the silver finish, being worn only on the edges. Grips fine, shrunk slightly, retaining most of the varnish, free of chips, minor hairline in butt on left side. Missing right grip round escutcheon. Mechanically good, except weak cylinder stop, sold as a collectors item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Always buying, trades of antique guns considered.
