US M1819 percussion conversion Simeon North contract pistol. Dated 1822 at back of lock and nice eagle marking in front of hammer. Bolt barrel proofs and good stock cartouche opposite lock. Metal parts have an attractive patina overall with some pitting in the barrel breech area. Stock shows average wear and use with expected handling marks, scattered minor edge chips, and a break in the triggerguard area that was secured well with a brass plate and two screws, which doesn't show any play. Has a crack and chip by the head of the rear lock bolt. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
