"Tanner & C" copy of a French musket, with Confederate association. Period replacement M1855 style hammer. 40-3/8" barrel. Metal parts have a pleasing untouched brown patina. Stock shows average wear and use with minor handling marks, some chipping around the side plate and a light crack around the hammer. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
