rare Austrian Werndl M1877 cartridge carbine. Serial number 6696C. Metal parts have an untouched patina with a spot of pitting on the right side of the receiver and some pitting on the buttplate. Rear sight is a replacement. Stock is fair, showing numerous moderate handling marks, but free of cracks and chips. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
