English single barrel percussion fowler by R. Twist - $275.00

English single barrel percussion fowler, marked on lock "R.TWIST" and on barrel flat "LONDON". 28" barrel, octagon transitioning to 16-sided, with "wedding band" separator to round portion. 12 gauge bore. Nicely engraved, untouched iron parts with speckled rust patina, showing little use or handling over the years. Varnished walnut stock is checkered in the wrist and also shows little use with minor handling marks and a small replaced chip by the buttplate. Wooden ramrod. Ramrod pipes show evidence of having been resoldered. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
