Nicely made American single barrel fowler utilizing M1842 Springfield musket barrel dated 1847. Marked on trade lock "Wm T EUSTIS & Co/WARRANTED". 31-1/4" barrel. Light to medium patina on metal parts with an overall light pitting on lock and barrel. Stock is very good with light handling marks, a couple minor cracks by the lock screw, and some little "flea bites" from the lock mortise. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
