Massive English percussion single barrel fowler by Sharpe. London proofed on barrel. 52" barrel of 0.79" bore. Nicely engraved lock, all parts have a pleasing untouched patina with one absent ramrod pipe. Stock is good with a small piece of wood missing near muzzle on right side and a little wood missing associated with the missing ramrod pipe. Wood has a pleasing finish and patina, buttplate has a screw added to the toe long, probably because it was bending, which has worn through the wood a little. Mechanically good with strong action, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
