"Gillespie", as marked on locks, fancy English percussion shotgun. 36" barrels, about 12 gauge bores. German silver furnishings with nice engraving, cleaned barrel showing twist finish and some pitting in the breech area. Ramrod absent, one nipple absent and the other broken off, one trigger absent, and screw missing from breech end of barrel rib. Stock has attractive striped grain with antique finish showing light handling marks, cracked with some looseness in the triggerguard area. Triggerguard is also cracked where the front part of the bow meets the plate. Lock internals are missing. Good candidate for restoration. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
