Winchester Model 94 lever action rifle. Serial number 922811, made in 1923. 26" barrel, 32-40 caliber, button magazine configuration. Bore is fair and strong, showing some scattered light pitting or rust that didn't brush out. Original blue finish on barrel turning to plumb with some thinning, other parts show an attractive medium brown patina. Knurled pattern hammer, steel crescent buttplate, rear sight with 1901 patent on elevator. Stocks show shallow dents and scratches and some finish loss from honest wear and use. Has a couple very small grain checks in right side of forearm near nose cap. Ships to FFL dealer or C&R license holder where eligible. Appears to be mechanically functional. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Before considering using this arm, we recommend inspection by a professional gunsmith.
