Winchester Model 1894 lever action saddle ring carbine. Serial number 641549, made in 1912. 20" round barrel, 38-55 caliber. Fair bore with some with some soiling that didn't brush out, exhibiting erosion probably from having been used with blackpowder cartridges. Medium to dark gray patina with some plumb, flip up rear ladder sight, knurled pattern hammer, steel saddle ring and stud on left side of receiver. Buttstock and forearm show average handling with shallow dents and scratches and a small crack on top right side of wrist at base of upper tang and a small air check on left side of butt stock. Ships to FFL dealer or C&R license holder where eligible. Appears to be mechanically functional. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Before considering using this arm, we recommend inspection by a professional gunsmith.
