Winchester Model 1894 lever action carbine. Serial number 412076, made in 1907. 20" barrel, 25-35 W.C.F. caliber. Bore is fair, showing some erosion from use and some grime that hasn't brushed out. Metal parts are 99% quality reblue finish with good markings overall, shows a small loss of finish on the rear edge of lever plate just forward of the trigger, and a couple of small freckles on the lower tang. Knurled pattern hammer has small chip missing from top right corner (before re blue) and knurled steel butt plate. Nicely figured buttstock and forearm show a high gloss finish, showing light average handling with some shallow dents and scratches. Ships to FFL dealer or C&R license holder where eligible. Appears to be mechanically functional. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Before considering using this arm, we recommend inspection by a professional gunsmith.
