large Spanish miqulet flintlock belt pistol. 10-5/16" part octagon, part round barrel of about .58 caliber bore, about 16-3/4" overall. Fancy part octagon, part round barrel with embellishment to octagon portion. Iron mountings are attractively shaped, lock has interesting shaping to parts. Iron parts have light gray patina overall with little to no pitting. Stock shows light wear and use overall, free of cracks and chips, with numerous minor marks from handling. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
