Springfield M1861 musket, dated 1861 on lock and barrel. Nicely marked metal parts showing little use, with a light uncleaned rust patina. Stock shows wear and use, having been cleaned and some finish added, missing some little slivers along the forearm edges. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
