M1795 Springfield flintlock musket, dated 1812 on lock and buttplate. 44-1/4" barrel. Metal parts have a pleasing smooth medium patina overall. Stock with "US" script cartouche opposite lock, overall shows smooth wear with cracks at either side of barrel tang, crack in lower lock mortise from mainspring strain, and forearm restored from middle band forward. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
