M1835 D.Nippes, Mill Creek, PA US contract percussion conversion musket. Dated 1845 on lock. Fine metal parts with much bright appearance and some scattered pitting. Stock is charred from having been damaged in a fire, still shows good cartouches, but parts need some adjustment to fit. Replacement ramrod won't go all the way in. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
