US M1816 flintlock musket by M.T.Wickham, 1831, as marked on lock. Matching date on barrel. Original length stock and barrel, original flintlock. Wonderful untouched patina overall with scattered light pitting. Upper sling swivel is absent. Visible inspector marks in stock opposite lock, broken and repaired long ago in front of the triggerguard, with a piece of wood missing below the sideplate and the lockplate. Has some chipping to the ramrod channel and behind the lower barrel band, and scattered light to moderate storage marks overall. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
