M1816 US Evans contract flintlock musket - $1850.00

M1816 Type III W.L.Evans, Valley Forge, PA US contract flintlock musket. Has type II lock with misspelled marking dated 1826, barrel dated 1835. Metal parts have a medium to dark patina overall with minimal worn pitting in the barrel breech area. Stock is very good, showing only light wear, but lightly sanded with added finish some time ago, still having nice edges and a visible cartouche. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
